Which moving company should I use?

I need to move either to London or to Germany in two months time and I have lots lots lots of stuff. Would anyone with the experience of moving house give me some reccommendation?

Are there anything I need to take extra care?

Once I think about it, it gives me headache.

I would suggest you to search through Google, Freeindex and other websites with a feedback system so you can see how a removal company is rated.

When talking to the removal companies try to give them as much details about your stuff as possible so they can calculate the fees more precisely.

They also quote depending on the type of service you require:

Full Service: They help you with the packing/unpacking, loading/unloading. This is the most convenient service but also most expensive.
Semi Service: You do the packing/unpacking, they help you with loading/unloading. This is the most common type of service.
Self Service: You handle packing/unpacking, loading/unloading and they only need to drive. This is the cheapest option but also require lots of efforts.

In my opinion if you have lots of valuable items you should go for the first option as professional removers normally provide very good and suitable packing materials for different types of items in your house.
