How to become a preferred supplier to insurance companies?
How would a company go about becoming a preferred supplier for an insurance company?
This would apply to any product but as an example I work for a Persian rug specialist, we get quite a lot of people coming in looking to replace damaged rugs but it would be good to become some sort of official supplier or valuer for the insurance firms.

You have to watch out for conflicts of interest to avoid being sued. Contact the Insurance Company and present your offer of services. Adjusters usually handle damages and have experience in that field.D

- This isn't possible. You could become a preferred provider of service, such as repairing rugs, but insurance companies don't replace items. Once they pay a claim for an item that must be replaced, it is entirely up to the individual where to purchase that item.
Same with cars. I have a friend who repairs car interiors for insurance companies. If a car is totaled, though, the insurance company cuts the insured person a check. They can then go buy any brand of car they like.
The best you can do is to advertise with insurance companies and, perhaps, offer individual insurance agents a referral fee for recommending you.20% 1 Vote
