Your car will be impounded and you have to pay a fine (Fine up to £1,000 or 5 times the annual road tax fee, whichever is the greater amount) and get the tax to get it back or it will be crushed.

It is an offence to drive a vehicle or allow someone to drive a vehicle on a road without road tax or without displaying a valid tax disc. If you drive a vehicle declared SORN (Statutory Off-Road Notification) or having paid the wrong tax amount you will also be guilty of an offence.

  • More than likely to have your car taken off you there and then. It will be taken into storage until you pay a release fee which wont be cheap and you will still have to purchase tax before taking back your car anyway.

Failing collection, the car will either be sold or most probably crushed.

Just not worth the hassle, with the anpr the police are fitted with you will be yabba dabba dooed in no time.

    All the best : )
