Which insurance company will insure a laptop older than 1 year?

And how much will it cost per month. How long before you can claim, and how long is the contract you have to sign with them?

I've no idea, but a 1 year old laptop will almost certainly not be worth insuring, beyond the cover you will get with your household contents insurance.

• The smart way is not to insure it. Get quotes if you can, on a new one if necessary. Then save the same amount of money to a mini cash ISA by standing order. That way you will have money to repair it if needed. But more than likely you will have a tidy sum saved as they rarely go wrong.
