I never got given a national insurance card?
im 17 soon and need a national insurance card as proof of identity for my CRB in college, i was told i should have automatically got sent one before my 16th.
What can i do about it, i have never been sent one

National Insurance is dealt by the Dept of Social Security, based in Washington, Tyne and Wear. I would suggest that you get hold of your local office, number in the phone directory, and get advice. You may well need to take along a birth certificate and other ID with you to the office for it to be sorted out.

- What country are you in? USA does not yet ( thank God) have national insurance, but neither do we say "never got given".
